A Divorce After My Rebirth

Yvonne Yun could never have imagined that she would be reborn.

Reborn into the past, a decade before her familys downfall, before she had even left her maiden home.

In her previous life, she was the esteemed daughter of the Yun family, married to Luke Lu for ten years, only to live a life of solitude.

Yvonne Yun laughed bitterly. In these ten years, due to overwork, she had aged prematurely, looking like a woman in her forties or fifties, despite being not yet thirty.

Yet her husband seemed oblivious, speaking of another womans hardships and intending to make her his co-wife?

What of her own decade of sacrifices?

"Additionally, since you have difficulty walking, our son Wen will be raised by Connie Kang. After all, he is the child of Connie and me, and now everything is complete."

Complete??

Yvonne Yuns heart was torn.

Initially, her mother-in-law had deceived her, saying that Luke Lus survival in the war was uncertain, and it was too lonely for her to guard the Lu family alone. She suggested adopting a child for some comfort.

Touched by the words, Yvonne believed she had made the right decision and followed her mother-in-laws advice, adopting a child through their arrangement.

But she never expected it to be part of their plan. The son she had raised for ten years was actually the illegitimate child of Luke Lu and his cousin!

Moreover, the two had secretly conceived before marriage. Luke Lu married her merely for her dowry and the Yun familys influence!

The night was deep, and snow fell layer upon layer outside the window.

It was the last night before Yvonne Yuns rebirth.

To celebrate Luke Lu and Connie Kangs great joy, the Lu family was decorated with lanterns and streamers, filled with festive cheer.

She was left alone in the backyard.

Listening to the liveliness in the front hall, her hands tightly gripped the armrests of her wheelchair, filled with humiliation and defiance!

After tonight, even at the cost of her life, she would force Luke Lu to sign the divorce papers and sever all ties with the despicable Lu family!

As she was thinking, she suddenly heard footsteps slowly approaching her room.

She frowned slightly, "Connie?"

After a moment, the womans soft and enchanting voice finally sounded, "Madam has good hearing."

Yvonne Yun, in her childhood, had been schemed against and injured her leg. Due to improper treatment, she was left with a leg disability and had to use a wheelchair for life. But because of her limited mobility, she had trained her ears to be very sharp, able to distinguish who was coming by the sound of their footsteps.

On such a joyous occasion, it was odd for Connie, the main character of the day, not to be in the front hall but to come here instead, her tone implying satisfaction, which made Yvonne feel a bit uneasy.

She coughed and said coldly, "After being in the dark for ten years, congratulations on being promoted to co-wife. Now you can finally sit on equal terms with me."

"Unfortunately, this is far from enough. Only your death will truly mark a great day for me and the Lu family."

Connie sighed regretfully, her eyes filled with unmistakable joy.

"Connie Kang, what are you saying? How dare you!" Yvonne Yun scolded sternly.

"Yvonne Yun, if it werent for you, I would have been the legitimate wife of the Lu family. You usurped my place for ten years, separating me from my own son. Now you even want to divorce my cousin and divide the Lu familys property. Dream on!"

Connie Kang seemed to have held in a lot of anger and viciously spat out, "Aunt, time is limited, we need to act quickly."

Before Yvonne Yun could react to the meaning of her words, several familiar figures appeared outside the door.

It was her mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, each looking at her with a sinister coldness in their eyes...

Soon they all rushed forward, forcibly pushing her into the wheelchair and taking her to the edge of the pond outside the house.
