CEO's Woes, Gently Cherished by His Bride

Aspen City.

Jane Eyre stood outside the presidential suite of the Regal Hotel, the dim light casting a pale, bleak hue on her face. Muffled sounds of passion seeped through the door, causing her head to throb and her stomach to churn with disgust. Her fiancé, Jamie Fraser, was inside with her stepsister, Claire Randall.

"Jamie, be gentle, it hurts!"

"Shhh, baby..."

Jane could smell the pungent aroma of desire wafting under the door. Her mind felt ready to explode, and she was filled with a sense of betrayal. The text message she had received earlier was a cruel joke, leading her to this moment.

"Jamie, what if sister finds out?" Claires voice was laced with feigned innocence.

"What are we worried about? Even if she finds out, so what? You dont know how boring she is. Weve been together for two years, and weve only kissed. Im not a monk; I need some excitement too," Jamies voice dripped with disdain.

"Stop it... My sister is a lady from a good family, shes just conservative..."

"Conservative? I think shes saving herself for some other man!" Jamie sneered.

The door burst open with a bang, and Jamies face turned pale as he saw Jane. Jane strode towards Jamie, her hand raised to slap him, but Claire grabbed her wrist.

"Its all my fault, sister. Dont blame Jamie. I seduced him because I love him so much," Claire pleaded, taking the blame upon herself.

Jane glared at her stepsister, the sight of the glaring hickey on her skin making her seethe with anger. She had always treated Claire well, feeling sorry that she had lost her father at a young age, but this was how Claire repaid her.

Jane roughly shook off Claires hand, her eyes red with fury. "Dont call me sister, you dont deserve it. And dont forget, youre engaged to the second young master of the Cullen family. If they find out, you know what the consequences will be!"

"I know Im wrong, please forgive me and Jamie. I truly love Jamie," Claire cried, playing the victim and tugging at Jamies protective instincts.

"Jane, dont be too harsh. Its not Claires fault. Ive never loved you. If it werent for you being the eldest daughter of the Eyre family, do you think I would want to marry you? Even the ladies of the night are more exciting than you!" Jamie defended Claire, his words slicing through Jane like a knife.

"Well said, Jamie. Remember your words today, and dont regret it!" Jane clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms as she left in a hurry. The cold wind outside slapped her face, and the raindrops fell heavily. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she bit her lip, refusing to let them fall. She told herself it wasnt worth crying over a scoundrel.

Suddenly, a black umbrella appeared over her head. Jane turned around in surprise to see a man in a suit standing behind her.

"Miss Eyre, my boss would like to see you," the man said, pointing to the side.

Jane followed his gaze to a black Ferrari parked quietly beside the Regal Hotel.

"Who is your boss?" Jane asked warily.

"The second young master of the Cullen family."
