"This is ridiculous, what a lousy game," Chris Chu muttered, his body still tingling from the electric shock hed just received. Dont, Chris wasnt some fool messing with high voltage for fun; hed been playing a game when the data overflowed, causing his gaming helmet to malfunction and short-circuit his computer, which had electrocuted him.

Chris was a freshman at State University with a penchant for gaming, excelling in everything from single-player to online multiplayer games. He was particularly adept at online games, having dominated in many and even represented his country in world-class gaming competitions, earning outstanding results.

The game he was currently testing, "Phantom Realms," was a virtual online game recently released by the Bix Group. It was the only virtual game in the world with a 70% realism rating, a technology the Bix Group had successfully adapted from military applications to gaming, giving them a monopoly in the gaming market.

However, the Bix Groups dominance, lack of competition, and overcrowded servers had led to a severe decline in game quality and abysmal customer service, ignoring player complaints.

Checking his watch, Chris realized it was almost 7 PM and hurried to pack up for school.

"Hmm, I have a class with the beautiful teacher in the morning. What should I wear?" The beautiful teacher he referred to was their English instructor, Yvonne Yang, with her porcelain skin, deep V-neck revealing a captivating cleavage that had captivated many male students, and her high, inviting figure that stirred many imaginations. Many students, including Chris, harbored secret crushes on her.

Chris spent nearly an hour dressing to impress, ensuring he looked his best, "dressed to kill."

"Not at all. Im just naturally this charming. But youre looking sharp too; it seems youre ready to charm the ladies," Chris replied.

As Chris placed his books on the table, waiting for class鈥攔eally, waiting for the beautiful teacher鈥擹ach teased, "Please, Im not like you. But if you help me get some gear, I might consider sharing the ladies with you, haha."

Chris, still annoyed by the mornings shock, said to Zach, "Go on, what gear do we need this time? Im done with Phantom Realms; all the gear is yours."

"Pfft, nobody plays Phantom Realms anymore," Zach dismissed.

"Are there any other games out there?" Chris quickly asked, not wanting to miss out on any new games.

Zach blinked in surprise and asked curiously, "Seriously? You havent heard of the newly released Celestial Odyssey? Our gaming genius is out of the loop, haha."

"What game?" Chris inquired curiously.

Zach leaned in close to Chriss ear, feigning secrecy, opening his mouth but making no sound.

Chris asked him, "What game? I didnt catch it."

"Hahahahahaha..." Zach laughed with all his might, relishing the chance to mock Chris, his laughter echoing loudly in the quiet classroom, drawing the attention of their classmates.

"Old Three, whats up? Did you find money or something?" One of the students couldnt help but ask.

"Haha, Chris doesnt know about the new Celestial Odyssey; its killing me. He calls himself a master of Celestial Odyssey, but I think hes more of a novice, haha..." Zach exaggerated his laughter, making sure everyone knew what he was laughing at, explaining to others as he laughed.

This time, all eyes were on Chris, his face burning with embarrassment and anger at the surprised looks from his peers.

"Zach... You wait, see if I ever get you any gear," Chris threatened, grabbing his books and rushing out, marking the first time hed ever skipped class for the beautiful teacher.
