The Rewritten Love A Second Beginning

“Miss Rosa, are you certain about donating your corneas to Mr. Troy?” Dr. Thompson, with an inscrutable expression, sat across from her.

“If you insist on proceeding, please sign the consent form.” A pen was thrust into Rosa’s hand as she glanced down, a flood of memories not her own racing through her mind.

“Unbelievable!” Rosa exclaimed, standing up abruptly.

She had somehow becoming the male leads disposable wife.

The original character, known for her gentle and kind nature, had insisted on marrying Mr. Scott as a way to repay him for saving her life when they were children. However, Mr. Scott already had his own Belinda, and after a quarrel, he impulsively married the original character, even proposing to her.

Yet, Mr. Scott took no responsibility, enjoying the unconditional devotion of the original character while still carrying on an ambiguous relationship with his Belinda. What’s more, this Belinda was also married.

Aware that Mr. Scotts heart did not belong to her, the original character couldn’t erase the deep-seated feelings she had for him since childhood. Thus, she exhausted herself managing the household, exacerbating her already frail health to the point of needing an IV while working.

But her sacrifices were met not with Mr. Scotts sympathy but with escalating emotional abuse. This led the original character to suffer from depression, which Mr. Scott dismissed as melodrama, accusing her of being overly sensitive and having too much free time.

One stormy night, when Mr. Scott was on his way to comfort his Belinda after a fight with her husband, he got into a car accident and temporarily lost his sight. The original character, in her foolishness, wanted to donate her corneas to him.

Rosa, having read this part of the story, was furious and left a comment criticizing the authors moral compass. Now, she woke up inside the book, on the very day the original character planned to secretly donate her corneas to Mr. Scott without his knowledge, fearing he would feel guilty.

“Miss Rosa, are you still signing?” The doctor asked, noting her delayed response and the stark change in her demeanor from the gentle and understanding woman he had met before. His expression shifted between clenched teeth and a look of wanting to devour someone, which was entirely different from her previous demeanor.

“Sign nothing!” Rosa, known for her fiery temper in her real life, often said, "Actions speak louder than words."

She slammed her fist onto the table, causing a loud clang and a dent in the doctors desk.

The doctor was left speechless and wide-eyed.

“Divorce, I must get a divorce!” Rosa, oblivious to the damage, hurriedly left the hospital with the consent form.

On the way, Rosa tried to call Troy, but he didn’t answer and had blocked her number.

“Look at this, a man worth risking your life for. How infuriatingly foolish,” Rosa muttered to herself, looking out the window.

She pitied the original character and felt a sense of kinship, as she wasn’t any better off in her own world. An orphan without parents, she had struggled to buy a small apartment, only to wake up to find it all gone.

“I’m sorry.”

Suddenly, a gentle female voice spoke in Rosa’s ear. But aside from the male driver, she was alone in the car.

“Don’t be afraid. In your world’s terms, I am the original owner of the body you now inhabit.”

A flash of white light appeared, and before Rosas eyes materialized a tiny figure, dressed in a pink tutu, no bigger than the palm of her hand.
